Description
Tired of your tools living in a tangled pile?
Yeah, I was too. I own a bunch of power tools, and most of the time, they’d just end up buried on a shelf somewhere. I’d waste time digging around for a charged battery, a missing countersink bit, or - somehow - yet another lost tape measure.
This station solved all of that for me.
What It Does
- Holds up to 11 power tools (drills, drivers, jigsaws, grinders - you name it)
- Fits other brands too, not just Makita
- Works with the battery on or off, and you can hang tools in any direction
- Plenty of space for attachments, so bits can stay on while stored
- Top compartments for the odd-shaped or rarely used tools
- Two full-extension drawers with linear bearing sliders - ideal for the small stuff that always gets misplaced
- Integrated battery hangers underneath keep things off your shelf and easy to spot (charged = ready to go)
How You Can Build It
I’ve made this simple for both casual builders and CNC users. You’ll get:
- A 24-page PDF plan with step-by-step instructions, cut list, material list, and clickable product links
- Printable tool hanger templates (A4 and US Letter sizes)
- CNC-ready digital files in multiple formats (SVG, PDF, AI, DXF, EPS)
- Dimensions in both inches and millimeters
- Build video link so you can follow along visually
- Options for either 17mm (11/16") or 19mm (3/4") plywood
What’s Included
- 24-page PDF Drill Station Plan
- Printable Hanger Templates (A4 & US Letter)
- CNC-Compatible Files for hangers (SVG, PDF, AI, DXF, EPS)

This project came out of real-world frustration, and the solution ended up being more helpful than I expected. Now my tools are organized, my batteries are charged, and everything is right where I need it.
